Designed to Screen the Unit While Allowing Air to Pass
A poorly designed enclosure can restrict airflow, reduce equipment efficiency and increase internal temperature. KR evaluates ventilation geometry and clearances during product development.
Airflow geometry: spacing between WPC slats, open ventilation area, top and side clearance, and distance from the AC fan.
Airflow evaluation: compare airflow speed before and after the cover is installed, including centre and corner test points.
Important Installation Note: the AC cover should not be installed directly against the outdoor unit. Maintain sufficient clearance according to the equipment manufacturer’s recommendations.
