WPC Fencing / System Design
What Sets KR Apart from Other WPC Fencing Manufacturers?
Designed as a Complete System.
Refined Through 8 Years of Market Experience.
Boards. Rails. Posts. Hardware.
Designed to work together.
Every component has a part to play.
At KR ECO COMPOSITES, we believe a reliable WPC fencing system is much more than a collection of boards, aluminum posts and installation accessories.
Our fencing system was originally developed with the involvement of two international designers from Europe and the Americas.
Over the past eight years, the system has undergone several design improvements based on manufacturing experience, installation requirements and feedback from international markets. The result is the integrated fencing system we supply today.
While many WPC manufacturers focus primarily on producing boards and then matching them with standard accessories, we have invested considerable effort into the design of every component.
Here are five details that we believe deserve particular attention when comparing WPC fencing suppliers.
Similar Appearance, Different Engineering
You may find many WPC fence boards on the market that look almost identical to ours. However, the differences are often hidden inside the profiles.
Our board design pays particular attention to:
Wall thickness
Engineered to balance structural performance, material consumption and product weight.
Internal reinforcing ribs
Carefully designed to improve the board’s structural stability.
Tongue-and-groove connection
Precisely developed interlocking profiles for consistent assembly and alignment.
Edge drainage channels
Integrated into the profile design to help direct water away from critical connection areas.
These details are incorporated into our extrusion mould designs rather than added as an afterthought.
For professional distributors, we recommend comparing not only the external dimensions and price per board, but also the cross-sectional structure, wall thickness, reinforcing ribs and weight per metre.
What looks identical from the outside may perform differently once installed.
Designed for Functionality and Appearance
Square ABS Post Caps
Our square post caps are designed to match the aluminium posts, creating a clean and consistent appearance. We use weather-resistant ABS material suitable for outdoor applications.
Optional Decorative Post Skirts
For surface-mounted installations, we offer matching ABS decorative skirts to cover the post base area.
Unlike a simple decorative cover, our skirt design accommodates the three-direction opening configuration of the aluminium post. This makes installation and finishing more convenient, particularly for DIY customers.
Aluminium Colour Options
Finish samples for the post system.
Integrated Solar Lighting Options
Our system also supports optional solar lighting components, including lighting strips and matching illuminated post caps.
These accessories allow distributors to offer additional product options without changing the overall fencing design. They could also provide opportunities for accessory sales through your online store.
Engineered Around the Fence Boards
This is one of the most distinctive parts of our fencing system. Rather than using generic U-shaped aluminium channels, we have developed dedicated top and bottom rail profiles.
Top Rail Design
Our top rail incorporates several functional details:
- Internal reinforcing ribs for additional structural support.
- Dedicated slots for the stainless-steel L-connectors.
- A horizontal screw-guidance line to support consistent screw positioning during installation.
- An internal profile designed to follow the T&G geometry and drainage-channel angles of our three quoted WPC fencing collections.
The profile follows the board geometry.

Consistent screw positioning
This close-fitting design provides better positioning and support for the boards. It also helps guide the fixing process and reduces the risk of damage caused by incorrect screw placement.
Support shaped around the lowest board.
Raised support profile
Position-specific connection
Bottom Rail Design
Our bottom rail is not simply a conventional U-shaped channel. It features a raised support profile specifically designed to match the interlocking geometry of our WPC fence boards.
The purpose of this design is to:
- Support the lowest board more securely.
- Improve water drainage around the bottom connection.
- Reduce the likelihood of water remaining in direct contact with the board.
- Allow for the natural moisture-related dimensional changes of WPC materials.
The bottom rail also incorporates reinforcing ribs and dedicated L-connector slots.
Why drainage matters
We consider drainage particularly important because WPC materials naturally absorb some moisture and undergo dimensional changes as environmental conditions vary.
A poorly designed bottom connection may retain water and restrict movement, potentially increasing the risk of deformation over time.
Another Small but Important Detail: Packaging
Our top and bottom aluminum rails are designed so that they can nest together during packaging.
This allows us to use vacuum-sealed protective packaging to reduce packaging volume and help prevent surface scratches during transportation.
For an online retailer, more compact and protective packaging can also be beneficial for warehousing, order picking and delivery.
Small Components, Long-Term Responsibility
304 stainless steel · Black surface finish
Different positions. Different connector lengths.
Material quality, even where you cannot see it.
We use 304 stainless steel for our L-connectors and matching screws.
Some fencing systems on the market use aluminium L-connectors. We have chosen stainless steel to provide a robust connection with suitable mechanical strength for our system design.
Our connectors and screws also feature a black surface finish, allowing them to blend discreetly into the installation.
Although these components are largely hidden after installation, we believe their material quality and corrosion resistance should never be overlooked.
Appearance is a long-term consideration.
Outdoor fencing hardware is continuously exposed to moisture and changing weather conditions. If unsuitable fasteners corrode, rust staining can affect the appearance of the surrounding fence components.
In certain conditions, corrosion products may also contribute to surface discoloration and other long-term appearance issues. This is why we pay attention to both the base material and surface finish of our installation hardware.
The connector length is intentional.
You may also notice that our Top and Bottom rail connectors have different lengths. This is intentional.
Each connector is designed for its specific installation position and fixing requirements. I’ll be happy to show you exactly why during our installation demonstration.
Optional, but Still Carefully Designed
Our post base kit is an optional component.
Compatibility starts inside the post cavity.
Aluminium post cross-section
Expansion bolts
Without a surface-mount base
For projects where aluminium posts are installed directly into the ground, a surface-mount base kit is generally not required.
An alternative fixing solution
However, for installations on suitable concrete foundations or other engineered surfaces, our post base provides an alternative fixing solution.
The internal dimensions of the base connection have been designed to match the aluminium post cavity.
We also apply a black protective surface finish to maintain a consistent appearance with the other system components and provide additional surface protection.
Even though this is an optional accessory, we have approached its design with the same attention to compatibility and installation details.

Compare the Complete System, Not Just the Price
We fully understand that purchasing costs and profit margins are important when introducing a new product range.
But I also believe that after-sales service, installation efficiency, product consistency and long-term customer satisfaction are equally important to building a successful fencing business.
A lower initial purchasing price does not always mean a lower overall business cost.
Small differences in component design, installation compatibility, drainage, packaging and hardware quality can have a meaningful impact on the customer experience.
We don’t expect KR to be compared only with the cheapest standard fencing systems on the market.
What we hope is that our products will be evaluated alongside other thoughtfully engineered, complete fencing systems.
We want to help you build a reliable, competitive WPC fencing product range that your customers and installation partners can confidently choose for years to come.
